I’m an experienced, award-winning filmmaker, camera op, photographer, editor, music producer and qualified drone pilot.
I’ve made documentaries that have aired on TV and won awards, and many promo videos for a variety of companies. I’ve been a cinematographer and camera op on short narrative films and have edited and created sound design for these projects.
I’ve produced 360 VR films, including via a drone for use in VR headsets and on YouTube.
I regularly use Sony 4K cinema cameras and have BlackMagic 12K experience.
As an editor, colour grader and sound designer, I work in Davinci Resolve Studio, but also have lots of experience in Premiere Pro and Final Cut.
I’m experienced with Ableton Live as a music producer and have written music for films. I’m in the process of releasing a number of singles in the drum and bass and electronica genres.

Background
I’ve moved around a lot in the past (born in New Guinea and lived in Cumbria and Northumberland), but now live in Newcastle, UK with my registered office in Hexham, Northumberland. As an amateur triathlete I completed my first (and last!) Ironman in 2011. Since then, I’ve been dining out (a bit too literally) on this feat and am now more or less a lardy old git who bleats on about, “I did an Ironman in 2011 y’know!”
I’m not doing much writing at the minute, but in the past I’ve written lots of articles for several magazines, including Wild Planet Photo, Bird Watching, Landscape Photography, Outdoor Photography and wrote the critically acclaimed book Wildlife of the Farne Islands.
On the music front, I write music for some of my films, having spent years playing lead guitar in bands and creating electronic music. I’m now in the process of releasing singles in the drum and bass and electronica genres.
Oh, and in case you’re wondering, the name is Arabic (my dad was part Lebanese, part Palestinian and mam English) and Zibe is pronounced to rhyme with ‘tribe’😎👍
